Our farm has been called "breathtaking," a "wonderland of water and greenery," a "landscaping work of art." And we Miner's believe it is all of those things.

Solitude Springs was once a dairy farm and folks - including members of our own family since 1923 - lived off the land until 1946. It's sixty-one acres of pasture, waterways and woodlands that provide dramatic views and experiences of a very unique kind.

Solitude Springs has a beautiful variety of water and earthen gardens, an apple orchard, grapes and raspberries on the vine. There are pastures for cows, horses, donkey and pigs and acres of grasslands recently preserved through the first Grasslands Reserve Conservation Easement ever awarded in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States. In 2005, we were awarded the "Conservation farm and farmer of the year" by the Southern Rhode Island Conservation District.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
