Who We Are

The Rhode Island Center for Agriculture Promotion and Education (RICAPE). RICAPE is an independent non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. We provide training, technical assistance and marketing support services to farmers, gardeners, agricultural professionals, educators and community leaders in Rhode Island and southern New England dedicated to sustaining agriculture and education about it.

Conduct programs that nurture our young, build awareness, inspire engagement, cultivate knowledge, values and skills, and promote jobs, careers and community service.

RICAPE was the 2009 Non-Profit of the Year for its "outstanding contributions to the local food movement in the Edible Rhody Community."
